We are Fiona and Matthew Sharp.  In August 2020, at the peak of Covid and Brexit, we took the brave leap to move from England to the South of France with our 3 children in tow. Working in the arts, Fiona as a theatre producer and  Matthew as an international cellist and baritone, the Covid/Brexit landscape had given our professional futures a very bleak complexion. So, we decided to rent out our house and go on a year's adventure.

Here we are 5 years on, living here permanently and the proud owners of Artists' Apartment Montpellier and Artists' Gîte Caux.

 

In 2024, Gil Sharp (Matthew's mum and first female violinist in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London ) fell in love with Grau d'Agde, a beautiful seaside town only 30 mins from Caux.  She bought a stunning beachfront apartment, Artists' Seascape Grau d'Agde that is also available to rent, creating a trio of luxury rental properties.
